THE CHALLENGE | Design base frames to house five diesel generation sets for mine site in Western Australia.
RJE Global was contracted to design base, procure components and deliver five diesel generating sets for Nova Nickel Mine in WA. Zenith Pacific, the contractor chose RJE based on our dealership with GE transportation and previous packaged plant and systems.
The GE medium speed engines are the most fuel efficient engine in their class. RJE designed the base frames, procured and installed the engines, alternators and couplings. The units were coupled up, aligned and packaged off site and delivered as a whole.
