EXPERIENCE

Barry joined RJE in 2011 and brought with him a wealth of experience gained from technical and managerial roles across various sectors including Resources and Construction.

After eight years of Project Management on RJE’s turnkey projects Barry now sits within the Senior Management group heading the Pre-Contracts Division.

Following graduation, Barry spent five years seismic surveying in Africa in both scientific and crew management positions before returning to the UK for management roles within the Construction sector. Barry emigrated to South Australia in 2007, maintaining roles in Construction before joining RJE.

Barry’s project management experience within RJE includes the successful completion of high value and technically complex projects covering mine site ventilation, gas flare systems, remote substation construction and local/overseas gas turbine installations. Typically these would include the design, supply and installation of power and control equipment and systems, hazardous area compliance, structural and civil infrastructure, transportable modular switchrooms and direct liaison with a range of stakeholders.

In his role as Pre-Contracts Senior Manager, Barry overseas the Tenders and Procurement teams, responding to requests for quotations across all RJE’s operating sectors and thereafter supporting ongoing projects.
